Bell Choir at St. James the Less

Bell Choir

Rehearsals
Bell Choir practices on Sundays after the 10:00 a.m. service. Rehearsals last for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

About Us
The Bell Choir is made up of a diverse group of musicians. You do not have to be able to read music to join Bells! We have members ranging in age from High School on up through retirement. The more members, the more fun the music we can play.

We play a variety of repertoire, including hymn arrangements, descants and anthems. Some of our selections are pieces that our members have heard at conventions and workshops that they have suggested we tackle….and they have been so much fun! We have three octaves of Malmark Bells (which we are slowly outgrowing!) as well as 2 octaves of Malmark HandChimes. In addition to playing at weekly services, the group also plays at Easter, Christmas, and at the Festival of Lessons and Carols.
