Sunday Schedule
Worship at St James the Less is a rich tapestry of the traditional and the contemporary – in music, metaphor and liturgy. We celebrate the traditions of the past while embracing the newness of the present as we worship in and as a community. This intentional blend of ancient and contemporary allows for a diverse and meaningful worship experience.
Holy Days
Call our office for additional services that are celebrated during Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons . For any seasonal information, please check the EVENTS Calendar.
When to arrive
For families with children attending the 10:00 service, it is best to arrive 10 to 15 minutes beforehand to get the kids settled in their respective Sunday school classes.
Communion
Worship at St. James the Less seeks to glorify God in traditional and contemporary ways that move the heart and mind. All are included in the invitation to communion at both the 8:00 and 10:00 am services.
Music
St James the Less has been blessed since its earliest days with music. Our talented Music Director Anastasia Black enriches and enhances each worship service with the voices of our Adult and Treble choir.
Nursery
Infants and toddlers up to age 5 may be cared for in our Nursery during Sunday morning services from 9:15 am until noon. Supervised care is provided. Each child must be registered in the Nursery by an accompanying adult. If you wish to have your nursery-age child with you during Communion, please come to the Nursery at the Offertory to collect him or her personally.
