Season of Sound Concert Series - Spring 2012

Turning the beat around! March 11th, 11:30-12:45pm
John Knecht and his band of merry drummers will be at our 10AM worship service to enhance our music and song. Following the service, a light lunch will be served, and the beat goes on! The ensemble will lead us in a lively and engaging 45 minute percussion jam session! Expect opportunities to listen, learn and even play and dance along! Don't miss out on what is sure to be a FUN time!
Come to the Cabaret! April 15th, 4:30-6pm
Last year's runaway smash hit is back! You have to see it with your own eyes: the parish hall will be transformed into an elegant cabaret club setting, a stage will go up (complete with silver curtain and spot light), and a suppertime cabaret performance will sweep you away! Come and hear favorites from years past. Cheese trays and beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to BYO food and drink for your party. Reservations will be taken.
Fantasy Mass! May 6th, 4pm
You've heard of Fantasy Baseball (where you pick all your favorite players to form your ultimate team), right? Introducing: FANTASY MASS! A collection of all-time favorite hits from Masses and Requiems written by such greats as Mozart, Vivaldi, Faure, Rutter, Schubert…even Bernstein!
WE NEED YOU! Of course, we want you to come and hear the first two concerts, but we NEED you to participate in the third! Singers and instrumentalists from the community are invited to participate in our annual Spring Concert tradition. 2 rehearsals and one performance have earned this concert the awards for both 'most enjoyable' and 'easiest to commit to'. Come and be a part of FANTASY MASS 2012. Please forward to any singers/instrumentalists that you think would be a fun addition to our group!!!
