About Mother Megan
I have served as the seventh rector of St. James the Less since 2023. Before ordination in the Diocese of New York in 2021, I spent nearly fifteen years as a teacher—a background that continues to shape how I listen, guide, and learn alongside others.
My studies took me to Indiana University Bloomington, Union Theological Seminary, Bexley Seabury, and the University of Pennsylvania.
At the heart of my ministry is a deep love for connecting with people and walking with them on their spiritual journeys—wherever they are and whatever they are going through. I hope to help others discover how God is at work in their lives and how they are called to live with purpose.
I believe we grow most fully in community—where our gifts are seen, nurtured, and shared.
I live in Northfield with my husband, daughter, and stepdaughter, just behind the church at the rectory.
