Every team sport, organization and family experiences moments that feel disconnected and disjointed and also rejoices in moments of perfect cooperation. When everyone is singing the same song it feels so good, all together now! Though we are connecting from our homes and devices, our parish is coming together!
65 individuals received Christmas Gifts from our parish. The Christmas Pageant, “Do Not be Afraid” will be a video compilation of separate scenes from individual households edited together by Jimmy Alcorn. Christmas Eve will also be a video presentation of parishioners coming together. And Christmas Day a Zoom gathering- all together on Christmas morning. (prizes for best pjs) The Longest Night Gathering and Prayers will begin with homemade personally delivered chili supper. (thank you Nancy and Maureen) During this weary time, we will come together on Zoom Friday the 18th at 7pm. Through music, prayers and scriptures together we will seek hope for ourselves and our weary world in God alone. (sign up today) Like every instrument in an orchestra is needed for beautiful music; the power of coming together is in the simple “yes I will” given by each individual, all together. What a thrill of hope for our weary hearts – let us rejoice all together now. Grace and peace, Lisa
