Director of Children and Youth Ministries

St. James the Less in Northfield, a vibrant, suburban parish, seeks an experienced, creative, and organized individual with a passion for Christian Formation in young people to serve as Director of Children and Youth Formation. This individual would join the Rector and volunteers in organizing and implementing programs for a variety of ages to learn the stories of Christ’s love and form spiritual practices that support faith development. Familiarity with scripture, the liturgical seasons, and sacraments would be helpful in this role, as well as a value for outreach as formation and a desire to form a community of love and acceptance. The ideal candidate will bring new ideas and establish systems for sustainability in our family programing. The Director of Children and Youth Formation position requires 12-15 hours per week, including Sundays, some evenings and Saturdays. Compensation is based on experience, up to $20,500 annually. To apply, please send resume and cover letter by email.
