The Cloud of Witnesses
The Cloud of Witnesses is a unique devotional offering to assist us in our celebration of the Feast of All Saints in 2020. This video celebration begins with a traditional litany to the saints. Then, similar to the Stations of the Cross, individual saints are commemorated. Each has a brief bio, picture, scripture, and prayer to engage you. Musical interludes offer spaces for prayerful reflection.

Whether you are alone or in a family group our alleluias join people all over the world in proclaiming the Great Love of God in the deathless life of Jesus Christ. The following seven resurrection stories combined with meditations and prayers are offered to awaken in you what God has to bring you this Easter. Prayers for the World -- An Embodied Prayer Practice
Rev. Lisa offers an embodied form of contemplative prayer -- an intuitive, intimate connection with God's prayer for the world. We can find this connection to God anywhere we are, be it washing dishes or out for a walk. In this embodied prayer form, we can release our intercessions into God's care.

Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross are a way of recalling the Passion Narrative of Jesus of Nazareth. The fourteen stations are meant to awaken a spiritual journey that you share with Christ in your own life. As a practice, the stations also make us aware that needless suffering, brutality, fear, and hatred still harm people in a broken world that Christ came to save. Allow yourself to simply be swept up into the story as a multi-sensory experience of God’s way of reconciling the world for Love.

Praying with Courage
Saturday, April 4 | 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. If you find yourself wishing you would pray more regularly or better you are not alone. If you get frustrated with unanswered prayers, if you wonder what you are really expecting to happen when you pray, you are not alone. Prayer takes courage because to open our hands to God is to be willing to change.
Rev. Lisa will teach on prayer as an act of courage. You will walk away with some practical ways to cultivate a prayer life full of compassion and power. |
Christian Meditation on Mondays and Tuesdays
To live is a question! We are always discerning.
Christian Meditation invites our questions to rest in our Spiritual Heart with God. In the silence we find that the guidance we need is not the right answer, rather our seated, still, open, hopeful stance toward God. In silent trust we find our way to a confidence shared in being with God with others. Christian meditation is a short time of restful silence that reunites us to God’s love. We easily lose connection with our true selves in the fog of busy lives, stress and routine. In group contemplative prayer we practice simple quiet presence that guides us toward a sense of connection with God. Rev Lisa uses scripture, nature, prayer and poetry to guide the group toward open presence for God. Every meditation time is for beginners and those who have been practicing for a long time. Our prayer only requires our willingness for God, the rest comes through the power of the Spirit.
